ABOUT
Our Mission
Our food pantry was founded in 2011 by Cindy Williams at Bethel Lutheran Church in Palatine. Following a merge in 2016, the administration of the pantry was taken over by All Saints Lutheran Church. The pantry was soon relocated to the Community Resource Center near Rand and Dundee Roads—a vital area of need.
Initially a small operation, then known as the All Saints Food Pantry and led by Laura Lumb, everything changed with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Almost overnight, the pantry faced an unprecedented surge in demand.
FAITH FEEDS

PANTRY

As we connected with new clients, we learned about the barriers many faced in accessing the pantry. In response, we launched the mobile food pantry to bring essential resources directly to underserved communities.
Over the past three years, we’ve experienced fifteen-fold growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest food pantries in northwestern Cook County. Support from St. Thomas of Villanova and Holy Family Catholic Parishes, along with support from the local faith community as a whole, enabled us to meet this demand. Our association with Partners for Our Communities and Endeavor Health enables us to focus exclusively on serving as a food pantry while connecting our clients to additional services they may need. Since 2019, Faith Feeds has proudly served 274,723 individuals from 78,987 families, adapting to meet the ever-growing needs of our community.
