Become A Volunteer
At Faith Feeds, every volunteer makes a vital impact in our fight against food insecurity. By giving just a few hours a week (or even once a month), you join a passionate team dedicated to providing nutritious food and hope to families in need. Use the contact form below to contact our volunteer coordinator and help us build a brighter future. We recommend that volunteers be at least high school aged.

Join us at the Community Resource Center (1585 N Rand Rd) on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:15 PM. You’ll help set up, register clients (training provided), distribute food, and clean up after the pantry.
Volunteer at the Community Resource Center (1585 N Rand Rd) on Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 6:15 PM to set up, register clients (training provided), distribute food, and clean up after the pantry.
Our mobile food pantry volunteers are essential to our mission. You’ll start at 2:30 PM at the main pantry, bagging produce and loading supplies into the mobile van, then drive your own vehicle to a designated apartment complex to set up and distribute food to clients until 5:00 PM. The mobile pantry runs the first four Tuesdays and the first Wednesday of each month.
Additional roles include receiving deliveries from the Greater Chicago Food Depository, stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and bagging produce. We also need help organizing donations from local residents and grocers, preparing for Saturday distribution, and picking up donations from various locations.
