Big news! With $315,100 in funding from Endeavor Health’s Community Investment Fund, we’re making our new walk-in cooler and freezer a reality in 2025 and will better serve our clients in northwestern Cook County facing food insecurity, as a result. With this grant, we are aiming to reduce our budget spent on otherwise freely available dairy and meat products by 85%, compared to 2024, and setting an aggressive target that 80% of our clients will report that they are eating more fruits and vegetables, dairy, and meat and will be offered refrigerated and frozen healthier food including milk, eggs, cheese, meat and fresh produce
