Thousands of neighbors our community rely on SNAP benefits every month to help put food on the table. SNAP is a lifeline for families with young children, older adults, and people with disabilities, ensuring that families can access nutritious food when money is tight. However, beginning in November, the pending disruption to SNAP benefits could cause a hunger crisis unlike anything our community has seen in years. Existing benefits on EBT cards will not be affected.
When families suddenly lose essential food assistance, they turn to local food pantries for help. Faith Feeds is preparing to respond, but the level of need could skyrocket. Many are working parents doing everything they can to provide for their children while struggling to keep up with the rising cost of groceries.
Faith Feeds exists to make sure no one in our community goes hungry, especially in times of crisis. But we cannot do it alone. To ensure we have enough food to support every family who walks through our doors, we urgently need your help. If you need help, we are open on Thursdays from 4PM to 6PM and Saturdays from 9AM to noon. If you do not need help, please consider supporting our organization in this challenging time.
